So we got our main computer back today.  Yep, yep...we're stoked about that.

And this morning when I weighed myself, I'd lost another 4 pounds...so I've lost 10.5 in total, so far.  I'm stoked about that, too.

I'm still walking every day on my treadmill for 45 minutes...and I'm stoked about that.

My clutch is going out on my car.  I'm SO not stoked about that.  It's soft and smooshy and I'm so tired of us having all the bad luck.  It's not fair!  When is someone ELSE gonna get some of this load???  We have my student loan planned out to the dollar...we don't have any extra for fixing the car!  Arrrghhh!!!

Someone just stab me now.  I'm tired of this life.  I want a new one!

10.5 pounds already! Wow Shauna!!! AND 45 minutes on the treadmill??? You are doing great!!!

I'm sorry about your car :( It's always something isn't it? I'm glad you aren't letting this set you back as far as eating and treadmill. That is hard to do!

I'm gald you are so stoked about everything else though :) and you SHOULD be!!!
This reminds me of the video I posted on my wall lol. It's about the dangers of being stoked. I thought it was SOOO funny haha. You should check it out, it has a pic of a wierd looking young blond guy.

You are doing so great!!! Keep up the good work!

I have a question about student loans - and this is a really HONEST question - but I thought student loans were for classes, books and lab fees - why am I forever reading about people using them for other life necessaties? I know you didn't use it for your car - but seems you might have appropriated some of the monies for other stuff outside of your three classes?

The reason I ask is our daughter leaves for college in 5 days and most of her tuition is paid via scholarship but both she and us [her parents] had to take out small loans to cover the remainder - and those go into an account to pay for the remainder. How can people misappropriate the rest for other uses?

Does my question make sense?

Student loans mean one thing to me - as if I took out a car loan and I don't know - bought a sofa. It doesn't make sense to me.

Sorry to ask - but I have always wondered about this.

Thanks for any help you can give.

It's actually a good question. A student loan is more like a taking out a signature loan. It's dispersed through the college that I'm attending, so my tuition balance will be paid and then the remainder will be sent to me. Basically you can do whatever you want with the money...but they suggest that you use it to supplement what you'd be losing if you were to be in school and not in a job. They suggest using it to maintain your vehicle, buy school supplies (eg, computer, books, pencils, etc. etc.), food, etc. It's to basically keep you afloat while you're in school. I've tried looking at scholarships but I'm always passed over because my husband apparently makes too much money. God, I would SO love to know where it's at so I can buy me some clothes that aren't 3 years ago's fashion! Haha.

I hope I explained it better. Basically it's main purpose is to help you with school. If that's to keep the bills paid and your car maintained so you can get to your classes...then that is what you use it for. I'm using some of it this time to buy a new laptop. Mine is SOOOOOOOO old. I weep when I have to use it...lol. Well, not literally. But my computer probably does!

Btw...thanks for the treadmill support...and I never tire of hearing from new friends! :)
